Today I managed to take my camera to university to take some pictures... There are not a whole lot, but there will be more some day! As far as I've heard Kingston must be awesome in the summertime, but right now with the last snow melting and the meadows looking like big mudholes it's not that pretty at all! But anyways, here they are!
After 26 hours of travelling I finally arrived in Kingston and found a bed to rest. I'll take some pictures of the house and my room and my housemates and all that as soon as possible, but first of all I need to get settled here, sign in at Queen's and all that kind of administrative stuff. Besides that there will be a party tonight - a housemate of mine just turned 21 today so CHEERS!
I guess it's time to say Good Bye. In a few hours I'll fly to Toronto and the journey begins. I hope you guys are all doing good in the next few months and I try to keep in touch with everyone.
neither here nor there - maybe in Canada or Switzerland or Germany or France...
After doing some research at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, I came back to Europe. I spent several months in Zurich, Switzerland, and worked at Hocoma AG, a medical device company. Right now I am in Berlin, Germany, doing a dual-PhD in the Control Systems Group at the Technical University Berlin and at the Laboratoire d'Ingénierie des Systèmes Automatisés at the Université d'Angers, France.
the reason, why i decided to create this blog is not because it's cool to have one or because everybody has one.
i created this blog, because i'm somewhere in the world and since i don't want to bother people with long boring and annoying emails, you can check on me if you're interested anytime and no matter where you are.
if you're not interested in these things, nobody makes you read this, just go ahead and have a great day, doing whatever it is that you're doing.
to all the other ones:
WELCOME to tom's blog!
